Adobe has made a major leap in democratizing digital creativity with the launch of Photoshop, Adobe Express, and Adobe Acrobat directly inside ChatGPT, giving the platform’s 800 million weekly users the ability to edit photos, enhance designs, and transform documents using simple conversational prompts. The integration, announced from San Jose, brings Adobe’s flagship creative and productivity tools to one of the world’s most widely adopted AI platforms.

The new offering builds on Adobe’s momentum in agentic AI and its Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling users to generate high-quality creative work without leaving the ChatGPT interface. From refining vacation photos to designing invitations or cleaning up PDFs, users can now accomplish complex tasks simply by describing what they want in natural language.

“We’re thrilled to bring Photoshop, Adobe Express and Acrobat directly into ChatGPT, combining our creative innovations with the ease of ChatGPT to make creativity accessible for everyone,” said David Wadhwani, president of digital media at Adobe. “Now hundreds of millions of people can edit with Photoshop simply by using their own words, right inside a platform that’s already part of their day-to-day.”

The integration builds on Adobe’s recent launch of AI assistants in its products. This includes new chat features in Photoshop and Adobe Express. It also features Acrobat Studio, an interactive workspace for creating and analyzing PDFs with AI.

Now, users can access many popular Adobe tools within ChatGPT. They can adjust photos in Photoshop, customize designs in Adobe Express, and edit documents in Acrobat. To use these features, users just type the app name and their request. ChatGPT then starts the right Adobe workflow with helpful guidance.

By placing its tools in a chat environment that millions use, Adobe is reaching new creative audiences. At the same time, it provides a smooth transition for professionals to switch to the full desktop apps.
