Akamai is teaming up with Arrow Electronics through the Arrow ECS division, a move that will allow greater access to Akamai cloud, security, and application delivery products through Arrow’s large partner network. This partnership under Akamai Partner Connect will see both businesses providing combined and comprehensive IT solutions which will cater to the evolving requirements of enterprises in cloud infrastructure cybersecurity networking, and software.
Since digital experiences are playing an increasingly important role in business, the partnership is mainly geared towards making it easier for companies to rollout scalable and secure solutions. By focusing on the edge-first approach, Akamai platform is able to improve the running of applications by placing them closer to the end-users. At the same time, it is ready to provide multiple levels of security not only to applications but also to APIs and other infrastructure.
Through this partnership, companies and their channel partners will get to enjoy more secure and faster digital experiences, increased service capabilities in the cloud and security areas, streamlined processes for onboarding and purchasing, and a faster time to revenue through better enablement.
