Assette, a provider of digital communications solutions for the asset management industry, has launched a new AI-driven tool designed to automate the labor-intensive process of responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs).
The tool leverages generative AI to populate responses using pre-approved content, drawing from a centralized content library and real-time product data. This allows asset management teams to accelerate document production while ensuring consistency, compliance, and up-to-date information.
“Disconnected RFP tools create extra work and increase operational risk,” said Thusith Mahanama, CEO and co-founder of Assette. “We built this module for asset managers—by extending our Data Engine and applying AI to the actual questions consultants and asset owners ask. The result: smarter, faster answers with no need to reinvent the wheel.”

The new solution is built on Assette’s existing communications platform, which already serves clients across institutional sales, client service, and marketing teams. It enables users to generate tailored responses that align with firm-specific messaging while automatically pulling relevant facts from approved data sources.
This launch comes as asset managers face increasing pressure to scale operations, meet tighter deadlines, and comply with growing regulatory demands—challenges that often stretch internal resources. By embedding generative AI into the RFP and DDQ workflow, Assette aims to reduce response time, improve quality, and ultimately win more business.
Assette’s innovation reflects a broader trend of AI adoption in financial services, where firms are seeking smarter, faster ways to handle repetitive yet mission-critical tasks without compromising accuracy or oversight.
