Bitdefender, a global leader in cybersecurity, has launched GravityZone External Attack Surface Management (EASM), a new solution aimed at helping businesses and managed service providers (MSPs) proactively identify and secure internet-facing assets. The agentless platform offers continuous discovery, monitoring, and management of exposed systems, providing a critical layer of defense against emerging threats.
As organizations expand their digital footprint through cloud adoption, remote work, and third-party integrations, their external attack surfaces grow increasingly complex. Bitdefender’s EASM addresses this challenge by scanning and mapping exposed assets such as domains, cloud instances, expired certificates, and open ports, all from an attacker’s perspective. This enables teams to quickly uncover vulnerabilities, assess risks, and prioritize remediation efforts.
“Effective defense-in-depth security starts by reducing the attack surface as much as possible before threats reach the detection and response layers,” said Andrei Florescu, President and GM at Bitdefender Business Solutions Group. “GravityZone EASM is a critical part of our vision for unified security, risk management, and compliance, enabling proactive discovery and control of internet-facing assets that could serve as potential entry points for attackers.”

Integrated with the GravityZone platform, EASM enhances endpoint protection (EPP), detection and response (EDR/XDR), and compliance by delivering real-time insights, alerting on high-risk vulnerabilities, and supporting both strategic and operational security needs. With the ability to discover and assess assets in as little as 30 minutes, it ensures that even forgotten or unmanaged systems are no longer overlooked.
