Bosch Partners With Multiverse Computing To Explore Quantum Digital Twins

To incorporate quantum algorithms into digital twin simulation workflows, industrial behemoth Bosch has partnered with Multiverse Computing, a Spanish quantum software platform. Bosch already employs a sophisticated industrial simulation technique that offers insights accross numerous business units.

This new collaboration will investigate how computers and algorithms with quantum-inspired design might be able to scale these simulations more effectively. As part of its broader Industry 4.0 initiatives aimed at enhancing data collection, analytics, and simulation across its 240 plants, Bosch is investigating quantum computing and simulation. Through these efforts, over 250,000 devices and 120,000 manufacturing-related machines have been linked to create new digital twin workflows.

Additionally, Multiverse provides Singularity, a Software-as-a-Service platform for businesses that enables app development without the need for quantum expertise.
