CrowdStrike Acquires Seraphic to Secure Enterprise Browsers

CrowdStrike announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Seraphic Security, a leader in browser runtime security, strengthening its Falcon® platform by securing the browser as a critical frontline of modern work and AI-driven activity. As the browser increasingly becomes where applications run and users and AI agents operate, the acquisition enables CrowdStrike to close a major security gap by integrating Seraphic’s browser-native protections with Falcon’s endpoint telemetry, threat intelligence, and SGNL’s continuous authorization technology. Together, these capabilities will deliver a unified Next-Gen Identity Security strategy that protects interactions from endpoint to browser to cloud.

“Productivity requires flexibility and security; users want to work in their browser of choice. Seraphic delivers exactly that,” said George Kurtz, CEO and founder of CrowdStrike. “By decoupling security from the browser itself, we can turn any browser into a secure enterprise browser, without forcing change or slowing productivity. With our vast endpoint signals combined with Seraphic’s in-session visibility and SGNL’s dynamic authorization, we are defining the future of Zero Standing Privilege for the modern agentic workforce.” By enforcing security directly within any browser runtime and dynamically adjusting access based on real-time risk, CrowdStrike aims to define Zero Standing Privilege for the modern, agentic workforce while maintaining productivity.
