CrowdStrike Unveils Cloud Security Innovations to Protect AI Models, SaaS, and Runtime Data

CrowdStrike introduced major enhancements to its Falcon® cybersecurity platform to address growing cloud and AI security challenges. The new capabilities aim to protect AI models, runtime data, and SaaS applications across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Key additions include Falcon AI Model Protection, which scans AI models pre-deployment to detect malware, trojans, and adversarial manipulation, and an AI Security Dashboard that enables visibility into shadow AI, governance policies, and sensitive data use.

Falcon Data Protection for Cloud leverages eBPF-based runtime monitoring to secure cloud data without compromising performance. CrowdStrike also introduced SaaS Threat Detection and Risk Assessments for real-time insights into application risk. “These innovations deliver real-time protection, not just telemetry, across every layer of risk: data, workloads, identities, SaaS and AI,” said Elia Zaitsev, CTO at CrowdStrike. These updates reinforce the company’s mission to provide end-to-end, proactive cloud security as organizations accelerate AI and digital transformation.
