CrowdStrike has launched Threat AI, the industry’s first agentic threat intelligence system designed to automate complex intelligence workflows and accelerate threat response as part of its new Agentic Security Workforce. By deploying mission-ready AI agents that reason across threat data, proactively hunt adversaries, and take decisive action throughout the kill chain, Threat AI allows analysts to focus on high-impact investigations while eliminating high-friction manual tasks. “Adversaries are weaponizing AI to accelerate every stage of attacks – what once took months can now happen in seconds, collapsing the defender’s window of response. Intelligence must evolve beyond informing defenders to actively countering threats at the speed of AI,” said Adam Meyers, head of Counter Adversary Operations at CrowdStrike.

Embedded within CrowdStrike’s Threat Intelligence & Hunting modules and informed by decades of real-world expertise from the CAO team, Threat AI offers initial agents such as the Malware Analysis Agent, which automates malware classification, attribution, and YARA rule generation, and the Hunt Agent, which conducts continuous proactive threat hunting while delivering actionable recommendations. Additional agents for triage, correlation, and exposure mapping are planned, alongside a new Threat Intelligence Chrome extension, enabling analysts to access adversary intelligence directly in their browser to accelerate investigations and response across complex environments.
