DC BLOX has secured $1.15 billion in green loan financing to develop a hyperscale-ready data center campus in Douglas County, Georgia, supporting surging cloud and AI infrastructure needs. The project will deliver a 120 MW facility with expansion capacity for an additional 80 MW by 2027. “Atlanta is the fastest-growing data center market in the US today, and we are proud to enable our customers to expand their footprint in our region,” said Jeff Uphues, CEO of DC BLOX.

The financing reflects investor confidence in DC BLOX’s execution capabilities, as noted by Melih Ileri, SVP of Capital Markets & Strategy, and follows a prior $265 million green loan and growth equity from Post Road Group in 2024. The Atlanta build joins DC BLOX’s broader Southeast expansion, including hyperscale edge nodes and facilities in Conyers and Douglasville, Georgia. Michael Bogdan, Managing Partner at Post Road Group, praised the team’s focus on customer and community needs. The deal was led by ING Capital LLC as Structuring and Administrative Agent, with multiple global financial institutions serving as arrangers and green loan coordinators.
