Dell and Super Micro Offering Server Racks for xAI's Supercomputer

Dell Technologies and Super Micro Computer would offer server racks for the supercomputer that Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence startup xAI is developing, According to a report by Reuters. Elon Musk announced on X that Dell is assembling half of the racks for xAI’s supercomputer. In a response to a different post asking about another partner, he responded “SMC” – referring to server maker Super Micro. Musk said to the investors that his artificial intelligence startup xAI plans to develop a supercomputer to power the upcoming version of its AI chatbot Grok, according to a report in May.
