EDB Postgres® AI Enables Rapid Creation of Generative AI Applications for Enterprises in Collaboration with NVIDIA, at GTC Paris 2025

EnterpriseDB

EnterpriseDB (EDB), the leader in Postgres data and AI, announced at NVIDIA GTC Paris the integration of its intelligent platform, EDB Postgres AI, with NVIDIA NIM microservices , enabling users across the enterprise to quickly build and deploy generative AI chatbots and agentic applications using Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), with little to no coding required.

According to an EDB study (May 2025), only 13% of enterprises worldwide have successfully deployed a broad range of agentic AI applications at scale, slowed by fragmented infrastructure, limited model control, and the complexity of integrating AI with proprietary data. To overcome these obstacles, EDB Postgres AI now leverages NVIDIA NeMo Retriever model extraction, integration, and reclassification to ingest multimodal enterprise data. Support for an NVIDIA NIM microservices catalog makes AI model processing easier. Together, these capabilities help enterprises operationalize their AI securely, at scale, and on the infrastructure of their choice.

“With our intuitive no-code interface, we’re enabling a wider range of users to quickly build and securely launch generative AI applications into production with unprecedented speed,” said Jozef de Vries, director of product engineering at EDB. “Because EDB Postgres AI integrates NVIDIA AI Enterprise components and runs in the cloud or on-premises at the customer’s choice, companies can bring models to their data, not the other way around. This means more control, more agility, and safer access to agentic AI.”

EDB‘s approach reflects a broader shift toward platform sovereignty : giving enterprises control over their data, infrastructure, and model deployment. Built on Postgres and designed to run natively in Kubernetes, EDB Postgres AI is uniquely designed to support the development of secure, compliant, and scalable agentic AI for real-world use cases.
