Forescout Deepens Partnership with Tanium to Bring Higher Levels of Automated Security Governance

Forescout

Forescout, a global cybersecurity leader, announced the launch of a Forescout eyeExtend integration for Tanium, the industry’s only provider of Converged Endpoint Management (XEM). The new integration delivers automated security governance and reduces risk for customers by providing end-to-end visibility and policy enforcement across IT, OT, IoT and IoMT from the network layer to on-premise and off-premise endpoints.

“Hybrid workforces are here to stay creating uncertain, expansive attack surfaces for organizations. Collaboration and automation must be part of cybersecurity vendors’ value equation to meet the demands of this new normal and properly protect these organizations,” said Robert McNutt, SVP of Network Security, Forescout. “It is these two elements that are the staples of this integration and broader partnership with Tanium that we know will benefit enterprises for years to come.”

Available today in the Forescout Marketplace, the Forescout eyeExtend integration delivers comprehensive asset intelligence between the Tanium and Forescout platforms. This includes automated aggregation of host-based and network-based endpoint telemetry to create a more detailed risk picture for Tanium users and more consistent response outcomes.

  • Automated workflows across multiple tools to trigger real-time vulnerability scans and initiate patching and security updates
  • Verification of endpoint agents are functional and updated, contain, quarantine or block vulnerable, compromised and high-risk devices.
