Gcore, a global leader in edge AI and cloud infrastructure, has partnered with AzInTelecom LLC, a state-owned enterprise under Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, to introduce AzInCloud—the nation’s inaugural sovereign cloud platform.
AzInCloud is designed to provide secure, low-latency cloud services that comply with Azerbaijan’s data protection regulations. The platform offers a pay-as-you-use model, making it accessible to a broad spectrum of users, including individuals, startups, small and medium-sized enterprises, and government entities.
Key features of AzInCloud include real-time monitoring, a user-friendly management interface, a variety of operating system options, and a cloud marketplace offering diverse services and applications. These capabilities aim to support Azerbaijan’s digital transformation by enhancing data sovereignty and reducing reliance on foreign cloud services.

“Digital sovereignty is not a luxury, but a strategic necessity,” said Andre Reitenbach, CEO of Gcore. “Together with AzInTelecom, we operate a sovereign cloud solution that gives Azerbaijan full control over its digital infrastructure—secure, transparent, and independent. This is the foundation for trust, resilience, and true digital autonomy.”
Farrukh Farajullayev, Chief Commercial Officer at AzInTelecom, emphasized the platform’s role in democratizing access to modern cloud services, stating, “The main goal of the AzInCloud platform is to make modern cloud services accessible to everyone and to promote digital transformation in the business environment.”
The launch of AzInCloud marks Gcore‘s first regional cloud collaboration in the South Caucasus, reflecting a growing trend among nations to establish sovereign digital infrastructures that align with local regulatory frameworks and strategic objectives.
