General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), a division of General Dynamics, has expanded its longstanding technology partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) through a new Strategic Collaboration Agreement. This collaboration is designed to accelerate digital modernization, enhance operational efficiencies, and support government agencies in achieving their critical missions.
Under this agreement, GDIT and AWS will jointly develop innovative solutions in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cloud migration, and IT modernization. These efforts will enable defense, intelligence, and civilian agencies to harness AWS’s highly secure cloud computing infrastructure to drive mission success. Additionally, GDIT will utilize its research and development labs to collaborate on cutting-edge technologies, including quantum computing, edge computing, and high-performance computing.
By integrating GDIT’s extensive mission expertise with AWS’s advanced cloud services, the partnership will address complex government challenges. Together, the companies will work closely with federal agencies to identify emerging needs and rapidly prototype solutions in key areas such as:
- Strengthening cybersecurity for defense agencies
- Enhancing real-time intelligence capabilities
