Google Introduces New App to Test Experimental AI Systems Like LaMDA

Google has launched AI Test Kitchen, an Android app that allows users to try out experimental AI-powered systems from the company’s labs before they make their way into production.

As AI Test Kitchen starts to gradually roll out to small groups in the U.S., interested individuals can begin by filling out a sign-up form starting today. The AI Test Kitchen will provide rotating demos focusing around innovative, cutting-edge AI technology, all from within Google, as it was unveiled at Google’s I/O developer conference earlier this year.

LaMDA (Language Model for Dialogue Applications), Google’s language model that searches the web to provide answers to questions in a human-like manner, is explored in the first set of demos in AI Test Kitchen.
