Guild.ai announced it has raised a Series A funding round to accelerate development of its platform designed to help organizations operate and scale AI agents safely in production environments. The company’s platform provides governance, auditability, and cost visibility for AI agents by default, addressing the growing complexity enterprises face as autonomous software systems become integrated into real operational workflows.
Guild.ai is building a neutral control plane for AI agents that allows companies and developers to manage agents across different models, vendors, and frameworks without being locked into a single technology stack. The platform is designed to work with models from providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and open-source ecosystems, enabling teams to deploy agents through chat interfaces, APIs, webhooks, and scheduled workflows.
The company stated that adoption of AI agents is expanding rapidly as organizations deploy autonomous systems across code repositories, CI/CD pipelines, data stores, credentials, and operational workflows. As these agents begin executing actions in production environments, enterprises require the same operational safeguards used for traditional software systems, including approval controls, traceability, and rollback mechanisms.
Guild.ai’s platform addresses these challenges by providing centralized identity management, least-privilege access controls, and immutable audit logging so organizations can safely manage agent activity within existing governance frameworks. The system allows teams to publish trusted capabilities, version them, and reuse them across teams so developers do not need to rebuild agents from scratch for each workflow.

The platform also introduces development primitives that mirror modern software engineering practices, including typed interfaces, versioned releases, execution boundaries, and detailed execution traces. These features allow AI agents to behave more like reliable software systems rather than ad-hoc scripts, enabling organizations to deploy them with confidence in production environments.
Guild.ai also offers an Agent Hub, a discovery and collaboration environment similar to a GitHub-style marketplace where developers can find, share, and reuse agent capabilities across organizations. This model is designed to encourage collaboration and accelerate development of production-grade AI systems.
The funding round was backed by several venture investors including GV (Google Ventures), Acrew Capital, NFX, Scribble Ventures, Webb Investment Network, and Khosla Ventures, reflecting strong investor interest in infrastructure that enables enterprises to safely operationalize agentic AI technologies.
Guild.ai noted that AI adoption within engineering teams is accelerating rapidly, with usage activity scaling significantly as costs decline and new agent-based capabilities emerge. The company believes a neutral infrastructure layer is required to manage these systems reliably as enterprises increasingly rely on AI-driven automation across mission-critical processes.
