Illumio Inc., the breach containment company, has launched Insights Agent. This new feature is part of its AI-driven Illumio Insights cloud detection and response (CDR) platform. The AI-powered, persona-driven Agent is a real-time security guide. It helps teams reduce alert fatigue, speed up threat detection, and allow one-click containment. “Security teams are overwhelmed by noise, and we don’t need more useless alerts; we need more actionable answers,” said Andrew Rubin, CEO and Founder of Illumio. “With Agent, we’re taking the next step: every user gets a personalized risk view tailored to their role, along with immediate, practical guidance on what to do next.”

Agent delivers role-aware threat detection and actionable recommendations aligned to user responsibilities-whether for threat hunters, incident responders, or compliance analysts. Leveraging Illumio’s AI security graph, it prioritizes alerts, provides severity-ranked recommendations, and enables instant containment via Illumio Segmentation, all without host agents. Key features include persona-based AI guidance, MITRE ATT&CK mapping, and AI-driven remediation plans that automate threat response across the security stack. Now in public preview through the Microsoft Security Store, Insights Agent will be generally available in December, building on Illumio’s collaboration with Microsoft to enhance enterprise-wide cyber resilience.
