Global professional services firm Jacobs has announced a strategic collaboration with NVIDIA to transform data center design and operations using digital twin technology from the NVIDIA AI Factory framework.
The initiative will leverage Jacobs’ expertise in infrastructure and NVIDIA’s advanced AI and simulation capabilities to develop digital twin blueprints for AI Factories — high-performance data centers purpose-built to power generative AI workloads and accelerated computing. These digital twins will model physical environments, enabling real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and optimization across the data center lifecycle.
“Partnering with NVIDIA allows us to bring cutting-edge AI and simulation capabilities to the design and operation of critical infrastructure,” said Shannon Miller, EVP and President of Divergent Solutions at Jacobs. “This innovation will enable our clients to scale high-performance data centers more efficiently, sustainably and securely.”

Jacobs will integrate its virtual design and construction processes with NVIDIA Omniverse to simulate and optimize data center performance from the earliest planning stages through ongoing operations. This approach is expected to accelerate deployment, improve energy efficiency, and reduce costs for large-scale AI infrastructure projects.
As global demand for AI continues to surge, the partnership positions Jacobs to support enterprises and governments in deploying scalable, intelligent, and future-ready data center solutions.
