Keysight and Sateliot Secure ESA and GSMA Honor for 6G NTN Innovation

Keysight Technologies

Keysight Technologies and Sateliot have received the awards for the fifth annual Foundry Innovation Challenge organized by the European Space Agency (ESA) and Global System for Mobile Communications (GSMA) for their joint project titled “Blockchain-enabled anomaly detection end-to-end solution for 5G Non-Terrestrial Networks.” The project was awarded during the Mobile World Congress in 2026. Blockchain technology along with artificial intelligence and machine learning are used in the project for traceable calibration and anomaly detection in real-time, thus enhancing the efficiency of hybrid satellite-terrestrial networks. “Through these challenges, ESA aims to accelerate technologies that give Europe an edge. Keysight and Sateliot demonstrate exactly this with a solution that tackles a critical need for future 5G and 6G networks by strengthening trust in network performance, improving resilience, and supporting the smooth integration of satellite and terrestrial systems,” said Antonio Franchi, Head of the Space for 5G/6G & Sustainable Connectivity Programme of the ESA.

“This recognition from the European Space Agency and the GSMA Foundry underscores the importance of trust, assurance, and autonomy as NTNs scale toward commercial readiness. Our collaboration with Sateliot demonstrates how advanced test, measurement, and AI‑driven analytics can bring unprecedented visibility into hybrid space-terrestrial networks,” said Eric Taylor, Vice President at Keysight. This award highlights the vital role of autonomous, secure infrastructure as the industry transitions toward standardized 6G non-terrestrial deployments.
