OpenText has introduced the OpenText AI Data Platform (AIDP), outlining a new vision for enterprise AI that prioritizes secure, governed, and contextually rich data as the foundation for accurate AI-driven outcomes. With organizations facing exponential data growth and increasing risks-including the 51% of AI adopters reporting negative consequences and inaccuracies, according to McKinsey-OpenText aims to help enterprises activate their proprietary information responsibly. Savinay Berry, CPO & CTO at OpenText, emphasized a shift toward specialized AI agents, stating, “Rather than the world of one super agent, we will soon have armies of secure AI agents for every critical business process coordinated through AI orchestrators,” said Savinay Berry, CPO & CTO at OpenText.

Leveraging its 35-year history in information management, the company’s approach ensures that enterprise content is enriched with metadata for lineage, rights, retention, and wrapped in strong identity and security controls. OpenText’s Aviator platform builds on this foundation. It uses a multi-cloud, multi-model, and multi-application architecture. This setup works closely with ERP, CRM, and other systems. The company announced a bigger partnership with Databricks. Together, they will work on AIDP. This will help businesses unify, govern, and analyze their data more effectively.
