Orange Cyberdefense, the cybersecurity division of Orange, has announced the acquisition of Zurich-based ensec, marking a significant step in strengthening its foothold in Switzerland and enhancing its capabilities across the region. The deal, finalized on July 23, adds 40 experienced professionals to Orange Cyberdefense’s existing Swiss team of 100, expanding its ability to support a diverse client base—from small businesses to multinational corporations.
With expertise in consulting, IT security integration, managed services, and customized support for leading cybersecurity solutions, ensec’s addition is expected to enhance Orange Cyberdefense’s local reach—particularly in the German-speaking regions of Switzerland, where demand for cybersecurity expertise continues to surge due to evolving regulations and increasing threat complexity.
Present in Switzerland since 2022, Orange Cyberdefense has built a strong reputation for offensive security solutions and currently serves both public and private sector clients through its collaboration with Orange Business. The acquisition of ensec not only deepens local talent and customer relationships but also complements Orange Cyberdefense’s operations in the French-speaking part of the country.
