Prophet Security Secures $30M Series A to Launch AI-Powered SOC Platform

Prophet Security

Prophet Security has raised $30 million in a Series A funding round led by Accel, with additional support from Bain Capital Ventures and other strategic investors. The funding will support the rollout and scaling of the company’s Agentic AI Security Operations Center (SOC) Platform, aimed at transforming security operations through autonomous AI capabilities.

Prophet’s AI-driven solution tackles one of the most persistent challenges in cybersecurity: the overload of alerts, fragmented tools, and the high volume of manual investigation that overwhelms modern SOCs. Instead of simply layering more complexity onto existing systems, the company’s platform is designed to reduce analysts’ workloads by automating and accelerating the investigation process.

“What stood out to us about Prophet wasn’t just the technical ambition, but the real-world traction: they’re delivering autonomy and speed while showing their work—a critical differentiator in an industry that runs on trust,” said Eric Wolford, Partner at Accel.

The Agentic AI SOC Platform comprises several integrated tools:

  • AI SOC Analyst, which autonomously investigates alerts and summarizes findings in natural language,

  • AI Threat Hunter, which proactively uncovers suspicious behaviors across systems, and

  • AI Detection Advisor, which refines detection coverage and filters noise using real telemetry data.

One early adopter, Cabinetworks, reported significant efficiency gains using Prophet’s tools—cutting investigation times from hours to minutes without increasing headcount.

Rather than replacing security analysts, Prophet’s platform supports them by automating routine, repetitive tasks, freeing up time for higher-value work. The company also emphasizes the platform’s potential to fast-track onboarding and skill development for junior analysts through an agentic learning model.

With this new funding, Prophet Security is poised to expand its market presence and continue enhancing its platform’s capabilities. The company credits its early customers, partners, and founding team for shaping a product that reimagines how security teams operate in the AI era.
