ProsperOps, a leader in FinOps automation, has unveiled its Cloud Scheduler—a pioneering tool designed to automate the scheduling of cloud compute resources, enabling organizations to optimize costs without manual intervention.
The Cloud Scheduler integrates seamlessly with ProsperOps’ existing Autonomous Discount Management (ADM) platform, which already supports major cloud providers like AWS and Google Cloud. By automating the start and stop times of compute instances, the scheduler ensures that resources run only when needed, reducing unnecessary expenditures.

“Cloud waste is rampant and holistic optimization requires an automated approach,” said Chris Cochran, CEO of ProsperOps. “The scale and complexity of this problem necessitate an algorithmic rather than a human solution.”
This launch follows ProsperOps’ recent $72 million funding round led by H.I.G. Growth Partners, aimed at expanding the company’s capabilities and market reach. With the introduction of the Cloud Scheduler, ProsperOps continues to advance its mission of providing automated solutions to manage and reduce cloud spending effectively.
