SiMa.ai, a leading innovator in Physical AI solutions, has raised $85 million in an oversubscribed funding round led by Maverick Capital, with new backing from StepStone Group. The latest infusion of capital brings the company’s total funding to $355 million and will be used to expand its global footprint, accelerate product development, and scale operations across key markets.

The investment will support SiMa.ai’s continued growth in sectors such as robotics, automotive, industrial automation, aerospace and defense, smart vision, and healthcare. A key focus will be on enhancing the company’s software stack, bolstering go-to-market strategies, and advancing its automotive technology roadmap.

“This new funding further validates our leadership in the Physical AI space and the growing demand for Physical AI solutions that deliver best-in-class performance per watt with industry-leading ease of use,” said Krishna Rangasayee, Founder and CEO at SiMa.ai. “With strong support from new and existing investors, we’re scaling quickly to extend our competitive lead and meet global customer demand.”

At the core of SiMa.ai’s offering is the SiMa.ai ONE platform, a comprehensive Physical AI solution that merges custom-designed, energy-efficient silicon with a robust software suite. The platform includes Modalix, the company’s second-generation multimodal MLSoC now shipping, and Palette, a software suite featuring an SDK and Edgematic, a no-code development tool. This unified stack supports major machine learning frameworks, including vision, transformers, and generative AI, making it adaptable to a wide range of edge AI applications.
