Soroc Technology, Inc., an innovative IT solutions and services provider has named Christine Evitt as its new president, effective Aug. 6.
Evitt is a well-respected executive leader with more than three decades of experience in the IT service industry and deep relationships across the Canadian market. In her new role, she will oversee Soroc’s sales and day-to-day operations, with a focus on strategic growth, expanding market reach, and delivering exceptional value to clients.
“Christine is a proven leader who gets results through collaboration and creative problem-solving,” said Soroc CEO Tom Signorello. “She also has a wealth of experience in general management, client management and governance—skills that will help take Soroc to its next level of growth.

Prior to joining Soroc, Christine served as vice president and general manager for Compucom Canada, working closely with the company’s partners, business units and delivery organizations. Prior to Compucom, she spent 20 years in a variety of leadership roles at IBM.
Evitt holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from York University’s Schulich School of Business, additional education from Toronto Metropolitan University and Seneca Polytechnic, and a Master of Project Management Certification from The George Washington University.
