Teradata Elevates Louis Landry to Chief Technology Officer

Teradata Corporation announced that Louis Landry has been promoted to the position of CTO. In this role, Landry will leverage more than two decades of experience in software architecture and engineering leadership to drive the company’s technological vision and innovation strategy.

Landry has been with Teradata for more than 10 years, most recently as head of the company’s Technology and Innovation Office, where he led advanced research and development for Teradata. He has focused on leveraging Teradata’s core strengths to address emerging market disruptions, in particular the shift towards open and connected data platforms and the revolution in artificial intelligence, including generative AI. Under his leadership, his team contributed to groundbreaking new capabilities, such as Teradata ask.ai, and oversaw the development of entire new offerings, such as the compute engine project that evolved into Teradata AI Unlimited, Teradata’s first on-demand compute engine.
