The Open Group Unveils The Open Group Open Digital Transformation Forum

The Open Group has announced the launch of the Open Digital Transformation™ Forum (ODXF), a new global initiative aimed at accelerating and improving enterprise digital transformation efforts through open, vendor-neutral standards. ODXF seeks to provide organizations with standardized frameworks, reference architectures, and practical guidance to ensure digital transformation initiatives deliver meaningful returns across cultural, workforce, and technological domains. “The vast majority of enterprises today are engaged in Digital Transformation initiatives, with significant global spend in Digital Transformation,” said Rashed Al-Yami, Governing Board Member of The Open Group and Manager Digital Platforms & Architecture Design Division at Aramco.

“By developing open standards through vendor-neutral collaboration, ODXF can influence the Digital Transformation agenda towards more rigorous and successful practices.” The forum will also create a knowledge base and certification program to help practitioners demonstrate their expertise in applying these best practices. “Digital Transformation is not a new term, but the emergence of a range of disruptive technologies, from AI to quantum computing, has made it more urgent than ever for businesses to find a clear guiding path towards proven approaches to this challenge,” added Steve Nunn, President and CEO of The Open Group.
