Trend Micro is set to launch its most extensive AI risk management offering yet. The Trend Vision One™ AI Security Package will debut at AWS re:Invent this December. This solution is the first of its kind. It focuses on proactive exposure management for AI-driven environments. It protects the entire AI application lifecycle, from model development to runtime.
The launch comes as businesses speed up AI adoption but struggle to see model processes. They need to understand how models handle data, make decisions, and respond to threats. Traditional cybersecurity tools can’t manage AI-specific risks. These risks include data poisoning, prompt injection, model tampering, and output manipulation. Trend Micro’s new package aims to fill these gaps. It offers continuous monitoring, automated guardrails, and real-time intelligence designed for AI systems.
Rachel Jin, Chief Platform and Business Officer at Trend, underscored the urgency: “Innovation without oversight is a risk businesses cannot afford. Our goal is to provide the foundation for AI safety and guardrails to align AI transformation with security and trust. By building with these principles from the start, organizations can move forward with confidence as AI becomes central to their growth.”

Through its AI Application Security capabilities, Trend Vision One™ introduces an AI Scanner that continuously detects vulnerabilities and applies automated defenses, forming a closed-loop protection system for enterprise AI workloads. The package will be released alongside other new AI-focused capabilities, including expanded cloud risk management, enhanced container and code security, and zero-trust controls for generative AI.
Supporting tools such as Cloud Risk Management – Project View, Agentic SIEM with AWS native log integration, and NetApp-backed File Security deliver unified visibility and automated response across multi-cloud environments. According to Omdia analyst Dave Gruber, rising demand for AI is pushing organizations into risky territory: “As organizations race to gain advantage through the use of AI throughout their operating environment, most face significant risks across the many facets of AI security and governance.”
Trend Micro’s new portfolio aims to help enterprises establish auditable governance, enforce consistent security policies, and protect proprietary AI models as they scale AI-driven innovation.
