Veritone, Inc., a leader in building human-centered enterprise AI solutions, announced a strategic partnership with Nuix, a leading provider of investigative analytics and intelligence software, to leverage industry-leading technology from both organizations to help maximize value for their customers’ investigations, eDiscovery and compliance initiatives.
Nuix Neo is a unified platform delivering solutions for data privacy, cyber-breach response, investigations, and an end-to-end eDiscovery solution for the legal industry. The partnership combines Nuix’s Neo unified platform and Veritone’s ecosystem of 300+ AI models, known as aiWARE™, to offer a turn-key solution to handle audio and textual data and the increased volume of evidentiary media files, including body-worn camera footage, car-dashcam video, CCTV surveillance footage and jailhouse phone calls. The solution will also help customers meet public records requests or judiciary deadlines for turning over redacted evidentiary media files, ensuring personally identifiable information is completely removed.
“Combining Nuix’s powerful capabilities to understand high volumes of unstructured data with forensic rigor with Veritone’s industry-leading capabilities in handling audio and video data allows us to provide a complete, compelling solution to our customers,” says Jonathan Rubinsztein, Group CEO Nuix.

“Our agreement with Nuix is a testament to the distinct value of aiWARE, which is a scalable AI platform that can be easily integrated into third-party solutions to meet a variety of use cases and needs,” said Jon Gacek, general manager of Veritone Public Sector. “Additionally, this agreement expands the global footprint of our audio and video capabilities in the areas of criminal investigations and data privacy, while laying the foundation for future expansion opportunities with Nuix given the breadth of models we offer.”
Built on aiWARE, Veritone Redact enables users to manually define sensitive imagery and objects and then automatically redact this information from audio, video and image-based evidence. From there, the redacted evidence can quickly be downloaded with logs to support chain-of-custody requirements and shared with colleagues, public defenders and other stakeholders. It also enables searches for keywords and phrases captured within the recorded audio and quick redaction of those items.
