Accenture

Accenture announced the establishment of an AI Refinery Engineering Hub. The hub is designed to drive AI-led innovation and intellectual property development for the region and is supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB).

Building on its recently announced AI Refinery, the hub is an extension of Accenture’s Center for Advanced AI in Singapore and was launched as part of its global USD$3 billion investment to advance the use of AI. The engineering hub will offer a range of programs designed to develop local talent and equip enterprises with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the rapidly evolving field of AI, including the design and development of foundation models and responsible AI practices.

The engineering hub will provide a collaborative environment with end-to-end generative AI services for research, development and deployment of custom models to help organizations meet their unique needs such as improving business processes or creating new products and services. It will conduct applied research in industries such as healthcare, financial services, public sector, energy, and sustainability. It will bring together Accenture’s global network of AI experts with researchers in the regional AI ecosystem in areas like LLM technology architecture, AI infrastructure architecture, AI/ML computational science, and responsible AI.
