Cynet has launched new AI Security and Identity Security offerings to its Unified Attack Path Management Platform to enable security teams and MSPs to combat the new risks posed by unmanaged AI adoption and compromised identities. The new capabilities, announced on 3rd November 2026, will deliver organizations greater clarity about AI applications and agents, Generative AI services, and security risks pertaining to people through a single view. As companies leverage AI in greater numbers, CISOs and security teams will need to know what AI tools are being used in their environment and what risks they pose to their organization. As reported by the company, 87% of security professionals have seen a cybersecurity attack result from the use of AI in the past 12 months. To address this, the new platform capabilities will include the new AI Discovery, Approval Management, Exposure Assessment, and Recommendations and Reporting to help companies know what AI applications and agents are being used in their environment, expose unsanctioned shadow AI use, manage AI approval workflows, analyze their AI usage, and generate reports for AI governance.

Cynet also enhanced its identity protections to include new centralized identity security capabilities that unify identity risk signals, authentication activity, ITDR alerts, and user context in a single view. Security teams will be able to investigate individual user risks, examine identity recommendations, and initiate user remediation. Additionally, enhanced credential-theft detection uses endpoint-native, deep packet intelligence (DPI) to identify DCSync activity associated with attempts to steal domain credentials. Commenting on the announcement, Jason Magee, CEO at Cynet, said, “Organizations are adopting AI faster than many security teams can gain visibility into its use, while compromised identities remain a persistent threat,” said Jason Magee, CEO at Cynet. “Shadow AI tools and compromised identities aren’t isolated problems. They’re steps in an attack path. Cynet now brings AI visibility into the same platform that already sees endpoints, identities, networks, email, SaaS and cloud, helping security teams and partners understand how risks connect and where to act.” The enhancements extend Cynet’s unified platform approach by connecting AI usage and identity risks with existing endpoint, network, email, SaaS, and cloud security investigations. The new AI Security and enhanced Identity Security capabilities are currently available in beta to select Cynet customers and partners.
