Payroc to Acquire BlueSnap, Advancing Global Payment Orchestration and AR Automation Capabilities

Payroc

Payroc WorldAccess, LLC, a prominent North American merchant acquirer and payments technology provider, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire BlueSnap, a Boston-based global payment orchestration and accounts receivable (AR) automation platform. The strategic deal, expected to close in Q3 2025 pending regulatory approval, marks a significant step forward in Payroc’s mission to scale and streamline global payments.

By integrating BlueSnap’s advanced orchestration layer with its own direct-connect acquiring network across the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico, Payroc aims to bolster its end-to-end capabilities for merchants, ISVs, and embedded fintech partners. The merger enhances Payroc’s global card-not-present transaction capabilities across 47 countries, supports over 100 currencies, and incorporates 36+ local payment methods through a unified API. BlueSnap’s intelligent routing and fraud mitigation tools are expected to optimize authorizations and reduce cross-border costs.

In addition, BlueSnap brings robust AR automation features such as embedded invoicing, subscription billing, and streamlined reconciliation—tools that improve cash flow visibility and efficiency for enterprises operating at scale.

“Integrating BlueSnap’s orchestration layer with Payroc’s direct-connect network transforms our ability to serve merchants and ISVs at scale,” said Jim Oberman, CEO of Payroc. “This transaction dramatically expands our global footprint and the breadth of capabilities we can bring to our customers and partners. More importantly, we are impressed with the BlueSnap team—our shared culture and vision aligns with Payroc’s ongoing commitment to deliver a more efficient, intelligent, and global payments experience.”

Echoing this sentiment, BlueSnap CEO Henry Helgeson added, “Joining Payroc gives BlueSnap‘s customers direct access to industry-leading acquiring relationships and a broader partner ecosystem. Together, we’ll empower businesses to scale payments both domestically and globally, automate receivables, and innovate faster than ever.”

The combined entity will offer enhanced local acquiring services, support for electronic checks, FX conversion, and unified reporting—all within a compliant and cost-effective infrastructure designed to support the evolving needs of modern businesses.
