The announcement has been made at a time when there is increasing global regulatory pressure, with regulations like Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation and the EU Battery Regulation, which are compelling organizations to enhance data governance and ensure that they can meet verified sustainability requirements. The DPP services are intended to offer guidance to organizations that are seeking to meet regulations like this, as well as embed circular economy principles and enhance supply chain transparency.
