SolarWinds has enhanced the monitoring of database performance by introducing Database Performance Analyzer (DPA) for SAP HANA® Cloud. As part of the new release, DPA 2026.2, the technology brings in unified telemetry that works on both cloud and hybrid environments, and helps database administrators (DBAs) discover bottlenecks, reduce troubleshooting time, and ensure system availability.

Through the combination of native SAP HANA diagnostics and the already existing wait-based analytics, automatic alerting on anomalies, and artificial intelligence-based query optimization, SolarWinds hopes to shed light on the data coming from multiple layers of infrastructure. In this way, the upgraded technology offers an ability to engineers to have forensics-level information about instance latency and detect execution problems before they impact business applications.

Mitigating Costly DB Downtime in Corporate Ecosystems

Present-day enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, accounting systems, analytics solutions, and key logistics processes depend on SAP HANA Cloud as the underlying computing architecture. As per the report on the State of Database for 2025 issued by SolarWinds, 27 out of 52 hours of the typical work week of DBAs are spent tackling urgent performance problems; only 40 percent of the participants have integrated monitoring tools available.

Dynamic Threshold Automation: Implements intelligent threshold monitoring across wait metrics, localized resource consumption, administrative states, system blackout windows, and custom alert variables to capture behavioral anomalies early.

Continuous Cloud Capability Scaling: Features modular infrastructure definitions designed to continuously enrich SAP HANA cloud observability vectors with each subsequent DPA software lifecycle update.
