Lumen Technologies has launched Lumen Defender℠ Advanced Managed Detection and Response (AMDR), which offers services of its managed detection and response along with AI-based security operations, to enable enterprises to detect, contain, and mitigate complex cyberattacks. Lumen Defender℠ AMDR provides advanced capabilities with the integration of Lumen Defender Threat Feed, which uses threat intelligence from the Black Lotus Labs network-embedded in the Cortex XSIAM platform, thereby mitigating alert fatigue, faster incident response, and enhancing enterprise security operations in light of evolving attacks based on AI technology. The unique aspect of this solution lies in the use of threat intelligence from Black Lotus Labs that analyzes any activity on the Lumen network as compared to only endpoints or logs data. The intelligence generated by Black Lotus Labs is already used to protect Lumen’s own infrastructure while supporting government agencies and industry partners by disrupting large-scale cyber campaigns targeting critical organizations.
