Esri has introduced ArcGIS for ServiceNow, its first bidirectional integration with the ServiceNow platform, enabling organizations to seamlessly incorporate location intelligence into everyday business operations. Designed for industries including government, utilities, energy, healthcare, telecommunications, and commercial enterprises, the integration allows users to visualize and analyze operational data such as incidents, permits, facilities, and work orders within ArcGIS maps while also accessing ArcGIS-powered mapping capabilities directly inside the ServiceNow AI Platform. The solution consists of two components: Connector for ServiceNow, which provides real-time access to ServiceNow business data within ArcGIS for advanced spatial analysis and location-based insights, and ArcGIS Maps for ServiceNow, which enables ServiceNow users to visualize enterprise GIS maps and web scenes without leaving their existing workflows.

By eliminating data duplication and connecting previously siloed systems, the integration helps organizations gain a unified operational view, identify geographic patterns, improve situational awareness, and make faster, more informed decisions. The bidirectional data exchange enables users to share information across both platforms while maintaining data consistency and operational efficiency. The launch addresses a long-standing need for tighter integration between business process management and geographic information systems, allowing enterprises to leverage real-time location intelligence alongside critical operational data. “As leading enterprise platforms, ServiceNow and ArcGIS are used side-by-side in hundreds of thousands of organizations, so this integration meets a vital demand,” said Brian Cross, Esri head of Professional Services. “The ability to work seamlessly across platforms is critical for agile operation, and ArcGIS for ServiceNow bridges the gap between business systems and the real-world insights only GIS delivers.”
