Deloitte Introduces AI-Powered Platform to Accelerate Secure Software Remediation

Deloitte

Deloitte has unveiled a new secure software platform built on Anthropic’s AI technology foundation to help organizations address the growing challenge of closing the gap between vulnerability discovery and remediation. This solution has been developed in conjunction with Deloitte’s service delivery platform, which incorporates the remediation capabilities, engineering skills, and managed services of the company to make the process of remediation easy for software vulnerabilities identification, prioritization, testing, validation, certification, and deployment of fixes. Driven by Claude, the platform is expected to make the remediation of software vulnerabilities more efficient not only for known but also for unseen vulnerabilities, ensuring the operational stability of enterprises as well as fast responses.

An open-source software, and third-party commercial products, which means there are various routes through which security threats can reach them. Although vulnerability detection has become easier, the process of remediating them has remained fragmented, manual, and costly, especially in open-source communities, where vulnerabilities could propagate throughout the system quickly. In other words, there is no easy way to get rid of vulnerabilities. “Securing the modern software supply chain is not a one-size-fits-all challenge; it requires a distinct approach for every unique layer of risk. Deloitte’s platform for secure software, powered by Claude, aims to help bridge the critical gap between vulnerability discovery and safe, rapid remediation across custom, commercial and open-source code. We are helping our clients establish a foundation of software trust that enables them to protect their entire digital ecosystem.” said Adnan Amjad, Deloitte’s US Cyber leader.
