Google has introduced three new additions to its Gemini AI portfolio-Gemini 3.6 Flash, Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite, and Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber-to help developers and enterprises build faster, more cost-efficient, and scalable AI agents. Designed for production-grade agentic workflows, the latest Flash models improve coding, multimodal reasoning, and knowledge work while reducing latency, token usage, and overall operating costs. Gemini 3.6 Flash succeeds Gemini 3.5 Flash as Google’s primary workhorse model, delivering stronger coding performance, improved computer-use capabilities, and better efficiency by consuming fewer output tokens while lowering inference costs. Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite targets high-volume, low-latency workloads such as agentic search, document processing, and large-scale data analysis.

Google offers significantly improved performance over previous Flash-Lite generations at a lower price point. Google also introduced Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber, a specialized cybersecurity model integrated with its CodeMender security agent to identify, validate, and patch software vulnerabilities more efficiently. The fact that the model has a dual-use characteristic will mean that initially, access to it can only be gained via a restricted access pilot for government institutions and trusted partners. Apart from the launches, Google said Gemini 3.5 Pro is still under evaluation by partners before being made widely available, while work on developing Gemini 4 is already ongoing. This launch comes as part of Google’s approach of developing efficient and enterprise-grade AI models.
