Aeris and Telna Join Forces to Reduce IoT Connectivity Fragmentation

Aeris and Telna announced a strategic partnership to improve global IoT connectivity and extend Aeris’ IoT Accelerator platform to Brazil. Under the partnership, Aeris’ IoT Accelerator platform and IoT Watchtower security suite will be integrated with Telna’s cloud-native core network for enterprises, OEMs, and managed service providers to manage the connectivity for global markets with a single interface. Telna’s local IMSI profiles in Brazil overcome local Internet access restrictions on permanent roaming and enable Aeris customers to leverage compliant local connectivity without creating a second connectivity stack in the country.

As the companies, the solution also offers zero-touch eSIM provisioning and intelligent local breakout to keep mission-critical traffic in proximity to connected devices, and reduce latency for autonomous systems, connected vehicles and edge AI applications. Telna offers more than 800 network relationships for more than 200 countries and territories.“Multinational enterprises shouldn’t have to rebuild their IoT program every time they enter a new country,” said Mark Cratsenberg, Chief Commercial Officer, Aeris. “Welcoming Telna to the IoT Accelerator community gives our customers compliant, low-latency access to Brazil through the same platform and security they already use worldwide. It’s another step toward truly borderless connectivity for Physical AI and intelligent, mission-critical IoT.”The companies said Brazil is the starting point, with plans to add more local profiles to IoT Accelerator.
