Adobe and NVIDIA Expand Strategic Partnership to Accelerate Agentic Workflows and AI-Powered Creation

Adobe

Adobe and NVIDIA have expanded their strategic collaboration to accelerate creative, production, and enterprise personalization workflows. By optimizing flagship applications including Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Substance 3D, Frame.io, and Brand Concierge across NVIDIA’s hardware and software stack, the partnership delivers up to twice the performance speed for next-generation agentic creative processes.

The announcement builds on the strategic initiative launched by both companies earlier this year, which bridges Adobe’s creative platforms with NVIDIA’s accelerated computing infrastructure, open models, and AI libraries across video, audio, image, and 3D media.

Next-Generation Desktop Performance via NVIDIA RTX Spark

To provide creative professionals with a way to easily maneuver through their multimodal works, Adobe has re-engineered the desktop applications to incorporate the RTX Spark super chip of NVIDIA. Based on the unified memory architecture and accelerated AI computations, this chip ensures real-time efficiency and high throughput.

  • Adobe Photoshop: Reworked to leverage GPU-accelerated compositing to boost canvas functionalities like Remove Tool, Gaussian Blur, and Light Leaks.
  • Adobe Premiere: Boosts post-production processes like playback, rendering, and AI functionalities like Enhance Speech and Object Mask.
  • Adobe Substance 3D Painter: Boosts texturing processing time for 3D artists.

“Creative workflows are more multimodal than ever, with many projects spanning images, video, audio, motion and 3D, making performance critical to helping creatives stay focused on their ideas and craft,” said Deepa Subramaniam, vice president, product marketing, creative professionals, Adobe. “By partnering with NVIDIA to optimize Photoshop, Premiere and Substance 3D for RTX Spark and accelerating Frame.io in the cloud, we’re delivering the performance creatives need to bring their ideas to life.”

“AI agents are helping creators unlock deeper and richer workflows using the Adobe applications they know and love,” said Jason Paul, vice president, local AI, NVIDIA. “Powered by RTX Spark, Adobe’s optimized tools deliver up to 2x faster performance to accelerate these new workflows.”

Cloud Video Acceleration with Frame.io

Adobe has leveraged NVIDIA accelerated computing to build Frame.io’s workflow for cloud-based media processing and media asset discovery. By leveraging hardware acceleration using NVIDIA NVDEC and NVIDIA TensorRT with CUDA, the solution can provide fast indexing and searching capabilities within large libraries of media content.

Early performance benchmarks for Frame.io workloads demonstrate:

  • Approximately 5x faster embedding generation.
  • A 4x to 5x reduction in P95 processing latency.
  • An estimated 80% reduction in search proxy size.

Enterprise Personalization via Adobe Brand Concierge and NVIDIA Nemotron

For enterprise brand management, Adobe and NVIDIA have optimized Adobe Brand Concierge using NVIDIA Nemotron open models. Scheduled for enterprise release later this year, the solution allows organizations to deliver responsive, data-grounded conversational experiences at scale.
