Cloudaware, Inc., a provider of cloud asset management and observability solutions, has officially partnered with Datadog, the observability and security platform for cloud applications. The collaboration introduces Cloudaware LogSight directly to the Datadog Marketplace, giving enterprise teams a continuous method to solve a persistent operational challenge: verifying whether every active cloud service is actively transmitting logs into Datadog.
Log management of multi-cloud logging in modern-day enterprises still remains fragmented in its nature. Log sources may vary in their configuration so that, for instance, Elastic Load Balancing logs could be sent to Amazon S3 storage, VPC Flow Logs—to Amazon CloudWatch, while CloudTrail logs are stored separately in distinct repositories. Since new cloud infrastructure instances continue to emerge constantly, there are no assurances that these logs will be forwarded to Datadog automatically. The discrepancy results in silent coverage blind spots detected by security specialists and compliance auditors in the course of threats or audits.
Since manual logging across thousands of accounts and microservices becomes impossible, it is getting more common for regulators to require documented proof of monitoring of key infrastructure.

Cloudaware LogSight systematically addresses cloud visibility gaps through a streamlined, three-phase automation process:
Multi-Cloud Discovery: Leverages Cloudaware’s Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to automatically inventory every log-emitting configuration item across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
API Reconciliation: Cross-references the active cloud infrastructure inventory directly against Datadog’s ingestion API to verify active log sources.
Actionable Gap Reporting: Generates a granular gap analysis detailing unmonitored services, accounts, and regions alongside specific remediation steps to restore full coverage.
Rather than relying on periodic manual audits, joint customers gain continuous, automated verification across their entire multi-cloud architecture. The integration also allows Datadog users to identify missing log feeds, systematically onboarding unmonitored data streams and expanding total log management coverage.
