Cognizant Expands Partnership with Anthropic as Global Premier Partner in the Claude Partner Network

Cognizant

Cognizant has announced an expanded strategic alliance with Anthropic, elevating its status to become one of a select group of Global Premier Partners within the Claude Partner Network. The news builds on a foundational relationship established between the two organizations in late 2025.

The enhanced agreement aims to bridge the persistent divide between raw artificial intelligence model performance and tangible enterprise business outcomes. Operating as an “AI Builder,” Cognizant addresses this challenge by combining domain expertise, deep software engineering capabilities, and global delivery scale to embed AI models directly into existing core enterprise infrastructure.

“AI capability is rising faster than enterprises can absorb it, and that gap is the defining problem of this moment,” said Ravi Kumar S, CEO, Cognizant. “Our role is to be the bridge. We bring the industry context, the engineering scale and the trust frameworks that use Claude to deliver production outcomes inside the most demanding enterprise environments. This partnership with Anthropic is about doing that for clients who need AI they can rely on, not just experiment with.”

“Deepening our partnership with Cognizant will help more companies harness AI’s growing capability and deploy it in real, practical ways for their businesses. From manufacturing to the life sciences, Cognizant is bringing Claude into the everyday work of some of the world’s most demanding industries – the kinds of contexts where AI can demonstrate its greatest value for humanity,” said Daniela Amodei, Co-Founder and President of Anthropic.

Demonstrating Measurable Impact Across Regulated Sectors

Cognizant has already deployed Anthropic’s Claude across several heavily regulated commercial verticals, yielding measurable operational efficiency gains:

Beyond these implementations, Cognizant is actively extending Claude-powered initiatives into financial services, telecommunications, and other high-volume enterprise sectors.

Scaling Enterprise Adoption and Technical Certification

Reflecting the broader market transition where corporate AI investment is outgrowing traditional technology budgets, Cognizant currently holds the largest count of Claude certifications globally.

A prime example of this enterprise-level momentum is Cognizant’s work with travel technology provider Travelport. Claude is slated for integration across Travelport’s software delivery lifecycle, where its expansive context window will inspect legacy codebases to extract and analyze embedded business logic-a critical prerequisite for modernizing travel retailing and distribution systems.

Model-Agnostic Platform Integration and Workforce Upskilling

As part of Cognizant’s open, model-agnostic strategy, Claude is being integrated across core internal and client-facing platforms, including Flowsource™, Neuro® AI Engineering, and Neuro® IT Ops:

Flowsource™ Capabilities: The full-stack engineering platform now pairs autonomous agentic workforces alongside human engineers within its Spec-Driven Development module. Flowsource directs these agents using formal architectural blueprints and coding standards, automatically auditing generated output to maintain production-grade software quality.

Workforce Credentialing: Through Cognizant’s recently introduced Frontier workforce initiative, the firm has committed to training a certification pipeline of 40,000 professionals. This includes credentialing 5,000 Frontier Certified Engineers and 10,000 Frontier Business Operators directly with leading model providers, with Claude coursework representing a primary component of the program.
