DEEPX has announced that its ultra-low-power neural processing unit (NPU) technology is powering the new Sixfab AI HAT+ for Raspberry Pi 5, an edge AI acceleration board developed by Sixfab, an Official Raspberry Pi Design Partner. Branded as “Intelligentized by DEEPX,” the solution enhances the Raspberry Pi 5 ecosystem with high-performance, energy-efficient AI inference capabilities, enabling developers and enterprises to build real-time Physical AI applications at the edge. With the DEEPX AI HAT, the company incorporates its unique NPU for running its sophisticated embedded AI models directly without the need for cloud infrastructure, providing an optimal combination of computing performance and power efficiency. The platform is made for power-restricted systems, such as robotics, smart farming, and automated factories. In addition, to make it more accessible, DEEPX also provides a full set of developer packages that include SDKs for fast compilation and edge deployment of models.
