KAYTUS

KAYTUS, a leading provider of IT infrastructure solutions and products, has unveiled its EVOLEEN-I5000s high-density containerized cabinets, specifically designed for artificial intelligence (AI) computing. These innovative air-cooled cabinets provide six times the compute density of traditional systems and are capable of dissipating up to 50 kW of heat. They also deliver 25% energy savings, significantly optimizing the efficiency of next-generation air-cooled AI data centers.

Modern data centers dedicated to artificial intelligence (AI) are characterized by high-density deployments, which are essential to harness massive computing power. With the explosion of demand for AI applications, optimized thermal management that balances heat dissipation with high density is now crucial. This growing need is driving the modernization of existing data centers to make them compatible with AI requirements, while requiring new air-cooled centers to also meet these stringent standards. In addition, numerous environmental regulations imposed by governments are pushing the industry to prioritize the construction of low-carbon data centers to meet today’s ecological challenges.

In response to industry developments, KAYTUS has launched the EVOLEEN-I5000s, a next-generation containerized IT infrastructure specifically developed for AI applications. These high-density, air-cooled computing cabinets feature exceptional computing power density and energy efficiency in a modular architecture. Compatible with current processors and heterogeneous accelerators, they seamlessly integrate computing, storage, and networking functions in a single compact unit. Each cabinet supports 20 to 50 kW of power, satisfying 80% of computing and connectivity needs. In addition, they integrate power distribution systems, UPS, cooling, monitoring, and fire protection, ensuring simplified and efficient data center construction. Designed for modularity, energy efficiency, optimization and intelligent management, the EVOLEEN-I5000s fits a wide range of applications, such as autonomous driving, biopharmaceuticals, GenAI (generative artificial intelligence) and smart manufacturing.

High density, optimum energy efficiency, fast processing and intelligent operation – all in one complete solution

High-Density Deployment and Optimized Computing Power: The EVOLEEN-I5000s can accommodate up to 40 accelerator cards and 10 processors in a single 47U cabinet, delivering more than six times the total computing power of traditional air-cooled cabinets. This high-density design significantly reduces space requirements and power consumption, optimizing data center efficiency. By reducing module placement by 40% and building space by 60%, the EVOLEEN-I5000s maximizes the operational efficiency of modern AI-driven data centers.

Efficient Heat Dissipation : EVOLEEN-I5000s cabinets optimize cooling efficiency with a contained cold aisle and a dual-group air conditioning control system. Upstream simulation of server parameters has improved heat exchange performance, allowing for better positioning of cabinets and air conditioners in a row while avoiding localized overheating. In the event of an air conditioning failure, the dual-group control strategy ensures system reliability and energy efficiency, ensuring continuous and efficient heat dissipation.

Energy Savings: The EVOLEEN-I5000s integrated system reduces energy consumption by more than 25% compared to traditional data centers. With an integrated megawatt-level power chain, energy efficiency is greatly improved, with losses reduced by more than 30%. In addition, the use of high-temperature cooling water further optimizes the cooling system, increasing its efficiency by more than 10%. This solution provides a sustainable and optimized approach for modern data centers.

Rapid deployment: The EVOLEEN-I5000 stands out for its modular design and simplified installation, which do not require complex engineering work. This reduces the construction time of data centers by 70%. Thanks to optimized space, cooling and power allocation requirements, a data center can be built and commissioned in just one week.

Security and Intelligent Operations: The integrated AI management platform provides real-time environmental monitoring and 2D/3D visualization, facilitating operations and maintenance. Key cooling components can be controlled remotely, while the AI-based monitoring system enhances data center stability and security by 30%, ensuring reliable and efficient operations.

The solution has already been proven and successfully implemented in large-scale data center upgrades for large-scale language model (LLM) applications.

KAYTUS successfully deployed EVOLEEN-I5000s to upgrade a large-scale data center for training a Large Language Model (LLM). A customer in the energy industry needed to upgrade their data center infrastructure to support the creation of a large-scale language model with 100 billion parameters, requiring massive computing capacity. The existing data center, initially designed for a 6 kW load per cabinet and capable of hosting up to 18 2U servers, encountered power and space limitations when dealing with AI workloads, requiring two cabinets to host a single AI server. Additionally, traditional air cooling solutions could not handle heat dissipation in cabinets exceeding 20 kW, while local regulations required strict energy efficiency, mandating a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of less than 1.25 for new data centers.

To address the customer’s challenges, KAYTUS proposed its 42kW air-cooled high-density AI compute cabinet solution, which delivers exceptional computing performance with six times the density of traditional cabinets. The solution maintained a PUE of less than 1.25, ensuring maximum energy efficiency. It met the high-performance requirements of AI applications while optimizing space and power usage in the data center, reducing the number of modules required by 40% and building space by 60%. In addition, by facilitating intra-module Infiniband (IB) networking, this solution reduced IB cable costs by 50%, providing a high-performance, energy-efficient, and intelligent infrastructure suitable for advanced AI workloads. The EVOLEEN-I5000s successfully addressed these challenges with its high-density design, efficient power management, and optimized cooling capabilities, making this solution an ideal option for modernizing AI infrastructure.
