Mirantis announced the validation of Supermicro’s modular server architecture with its k0rdent platform, delivering a verified Kubernetes-native stack for deploying and operating GPU-accelerated infrastructure at scale for sovereign AI and hybrid cloud environments. The combined solution automates provisioning, lifecycle management, and orchestration across the full AI stack, eliminating manual workflows and enabling Supermicro nodes to be automatically discovered and provisioned as Kubernetes infrastructure while consolidating legacy and modern AI workloads on unified bare metal. “AI infrastructure is becoming too complex to manage manually,” said Kevin Kamel, vice president of AI products, Mirantis. “With k0rdent, organizations can move from assembling hardware components to composing fully automated AI platforms – dramatically reducing deployment friction while maintaining control, performance, and compliance.”
