Palantir Technologies Inc. and global technology services leader Fujitsu Limited have announced a major multi-year renewal and expansion of their strategic partnership. The deepened agreement aims to scale artificial intelligence and data transformation capabilities for enterprises across Japan and international markets.
Under the terms of the expanded agreement, Fujitsu has entered into a new commercial contract with Palantir Technologies Japan KK to license Palantir AIP (Artificial Intelligence Platform) and Palantir Foundry. Additionally, Fujitsu will serve as a designated Global Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) Partner, accelerating customer-centric AI deployments across highly regulated and complex enterprise environments.
Delivering Sovereign, Auditable AI Infrastructure
As global organizations prioritize digital sovereignty, enterprise architecture teams require granular authority over data governance, underlying model frameworks, infrastructure security, and operational workflows. Palantir’s platform ecosystem bridges frontier AI models with strict data governance, ontology-driven operational workflows, and auditable deployment enclaves-giving enterprises complete operational control.

Fujitsu is making substantial investments to expand its FDE workforce trained on Palantir’s platform architecture. By integrating Fujitsu’s proprietary large language model (LLM), Takane, alongside its Fujitsu Uvance industry solutions, the company will assist clients in architecting custom, production-grade AI applications grounded in their own sovereign operational data.

Operational impact is something that has been realized by the partnership in large scale manufacturing facilities. Fujitsu was able to design a framework that would address the resilience of supply chains using Palantir platform stack for a top manufacturer in Japan. This framework was done without interrupting any operational activities in over 3,000 suppliers across 18 manufacturing sites around the globe.
