Securonix Acquires ThreatQuotient to Deliver Unified AI-Powered Threat Detection and Response

Securonix

Securonix, a five-time Leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), has announced its acquisition of ThreatQuotient, a recognized leader in external threat intelligence and the company behind the ThreatQ platform. This strategic move, revealed during an event in Sydney, marks a significant step in unifying internal and external threat intelligence with advanced analytics and agentic AI to modernize threat detection, investigation, and response (TDIR).

By integrating ThreatQuotient’s curated threat intelligence into its AI-powered platform, Securonix aims to reduce Mean Time to Respond (MTTR) by up to 70%, enhancing operational efficiency and enabling security teams to act swiftly against both internal and external threats. Unlike typical bolt-on integrations, this unified platform offers end-to-end visibility and coordinated response capabilities in a single, streamlined environment.

“Bringing threat intelligence management and SIEM together in a unified platform is a game changer,” said Marcel Jonker, Director of Cybersecurity Operations at Cambia Health Systems. “It means fewer swivel-chair investigations, more accurate triage, and greater confidence that security analysts are working with the most relevant threats.”

Securonix’s Agentic AI platform will now work in tandem with ThreatQ’s contextualized intelligence to automate threat enrichment, streamline investigations, and prioritize critical alerts—minimizing noise and manual workload. Customers will benefit from faster root cause analysis, real-time threat sweeps, and proactive containment to neutralize risks before they escalate.

“Security teams are drowning in noise and struggling to keep up with evolving threats,” said Kash Shaikh, CEO and President of Securonix. “This acquisition brings together Securonix’s Agentic AI-driven Platform with ThreatQuotient’s deep threat intelligence to deliver clarity, speed, and automated workflows to our customers, reducing false positives by up to 90%.”

ThreatQuotient customers will continue to access the platform as a standalone product or as part of the integrated Securonix offering, deployed either on-premise or via SaaS. Additionally, the combined R&D capabilities will accelerate innovation in Agentic AI and drive deeper integrations across SIEM, SOAR, and UEBA technologies.

“Enterprises, government institutions and Managed Security Service Providers rely on ThreatQuotient to protect their mission-critical businesses,” said John Czupak, CEO of ThreatQuotient. “Joining Securonix marks a powerful new chapter for ThreatQuotient. By uniting our strengths, we can accelerate innovation, expand our reach, and deliver greater value to our customers.”
