Securonix Launches Agentic Mesh, an AI Model for SOC

Securonix, Inc. and Amazon Web Services announced the launch of Sam, the AI SOC Analyst, and the Securonix Agentic Mesh, a new operating model for modern security operations that aims to scale analyst productivity, manage AI in production, and provide board-ready security outcomes.

While security operations centers (SOCs) are facing challenges of high alert volumes, lack of security analysts, and rising costs of SIEM systems, Securonix is changing the industry dialogue from AI capabilities and consumption metrics to operational output. With Sam and the Agentic Mesh, security executives can now measure the amount of analyst work done by AI, control every action performed with AI, and report outcomes in operational and business terms.

Sam, the AI SOC Analyst

Sam is Securonix’s AI SOC Analyst-a governed, always-on digital teammate designed to expand SOC capacity without increasing headcount. Sam automates critical Tier 1 and Tier 2 security operations tasks, including alert triage, investigation, correlation, and response preparation.

Sam functions natively within the Securonix Unified Defense SIEM and manages multiple specialized AI agents via the Agentic Mesh. Human-in-the-loop review is integrated to ensure that analysts are in control and that all activities are explainable, auditable, and policy-compliant.

Sam introduces a new unit of value for security operations. Instead of measuring AI through usage levels or feature adoption, Sam enables security leaders to measure outcomes in terms of analyst work completed. Each Sam delivers a defined pool of analyst-equivalent productivity, operates under full policy enforcement and human oversight, and helps reduce alert fatigue by absorbing repetitive tasks at machine speed.

By aligning AI pricing with analyst productivity-rather than data volume or feature sprawl-Sam supports predictable security operations economics and enables clearer, board-ready ROI narratives.

How Sam Works

Sam orchestrates specialized AI agents across noise reduction, investigation enrichment, response guidance, and reporting, delivering plain-language summaries that analysts can review, validate, and act on.

Sam is licensed based on verified analyst-equivalent work performed by AI, with productivity tracked transparently to quantify analyst hours saved and operational throughput gained. By taking on repetitive Tier 1 and Tier 2 investigative work, Sam enables human analysts to focus on judgment, escalation, and high-risk decision-making-without adding staff.

Agentic Mesh: Governed orchestration at scale

Sam is working within the Securonix Agentic Mesh, which is a governed orchestration layer that coordinates specialized AI agents across detection, investigation, response, and reporting workflows.

The Agentic Mesh is not a copilot or a monolithic AI assistant but rather a system of work-not a feature. It preserves shared operational context, enforces enterprise policy, and ensures that every AI-assisted action is explainable, auditable, and reversible.

Built using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, the Agentic Mesh runs securely within the customer environment, delivering enterprise-grade isolation, resiliency, and scale to support production-ready, governed AI for security operations.
