TD SYNNEX Unveils Agentic AI Capabilities to Streamline Partner Operations and Accelerate Channel Growth

TD SYNNEX

Global IT distribution and technology aggregation firm TD SYNNEX has launched new advancements in its PartnerFirst ecosystem at its annual Inspire conference. This launch includes agentic AI features that would help in automating the mundane channel tasks, provide real-time intelligence within the resellers’ process and help in generating revenues in North America.

This launch is not just another AI feature launch but it signifies a changeover from experimenting with AI to actual AI task execution through agents. It includes a standard Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector, agent builder and analytics.

Integrating AI Directly into Existing Reseller Workflows

At the heart of the enhancement is the PartnerFirst Digital Bridge, now complete with a full Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector. The connection makes available 53 different business operations of TD SYNNEX, such as real-time quotation, inventory lookup, order status check, price models, and cloud subscription data, directly to the AI systems developed by the partners.

The architecture enables resellers to use their custom AI solutions on top of the distributor data by ensuring a standardized interface.

Addressing the strategy behind the platform expansion, Nate Herz, Regional CIO North America at TD SYNNEX, noted: “PartnerFirst is built to grow our customers’ business and in order to continue that progress, we want AI to be something our partners run on, not just experiment with. These agentic capabilities turn a connected platform into a connected customer experience that helps spot opportunities, make data-driven recommendations and work inside the tools partners are already using. By combining ease of use with powerful automation, MCP and Agent Bridge will help partners accelerate time-to-value and scale AI across their organizations.”

Early deployment of the framework demonstrates tangible operational efficiencies. Clay Ostlund, president of Marco Technologies and a TD SYNNEX partner, shared his team’s experience: “The MCP connection brings faster, relevant information into the work we’re already doing. What used to take us hours now takes us minutes, so our team can resolve issues faster and focus on more productive work.”

Pre-Built Agents and Automated Workflow Execution

Agent Bridge was developed by TD SYNNEX to reduce entry barriers even further, integrating an agent building capability alongside a marketplace for ready-made AI agents. The agents already come configured to conduct routine administrative tasks within the partner’s tools themselves, covering areas such as product searches, accessory recommendations, warranty inclusion, returns (RMAs), and freight costs.

Key highlights of the operational expansion include:

  • 40 Workflow Automation Processes: Helps the platform evolve from mere information query-based responses to actual task completion based on quotes, invoicing, and subscription in the cloud.
  • Smart Product Recommendations: Helps analyze previous buying patterns, product details, and customer preferences to recommend complementary hardware/software/services to the customers.
  • Turnkey Architecture: Provides enterprise-level AI implementation without any need for the resellers to have agent infrastructure in place.

Driving Lifecycle Management and Strategic Intelligence

In addition to process optimization, another feature introduced by TD SYNNEX in terms of decision support is the Customer Lifecycle AI Business Coach. The tool is aimed at converting raw information into revenue strategies; it evaluates subscription usage, adoption rates, and renewals in order to detect potential revenue opportunities.

Another innovative solution in terms of decision support that is available to channel partners in addition to the AI Business Coach is a newly launched Self-Service Reporting Engine. This engine replaces manually created static spreadsheets and offers customizable dashboards for tracking orders, credits, and renewals.

Reflecting on the commercial impact for resellers, Jessica McDowell, SVP, NA Marketing and Digital Customer Success at TD SYNNEX, stated: “Partners who lean into PartnerFirst are already growing faster, and these AI capabilities are built to widen that gap. With more than 65,000 active users, customers that are regularly transacting across our digital offerings are seeing impactful growth. When AI identifies the opportunity, recommends the next move and completes the work inside the tools partners already use, partners will more efficiently create outcomes and impact.”
