Uniphore and global digital transformation provider Tech Mahindra have joined forces in a strategic partnership aimed at engineering and delivering specialized Agentic AI solutions to organizations worldwide.
The joint initiative pairs Uniphore’s flagship Business AI Cloud (BAIC) architecture with Tech Mahindra’s digital transformation framework and global delivery network. Together, the companies are establishing a dedicated Agent AI Factory-a joint innovation center designed to accelerate production-grade AI adoption across Tech Mahindra’s internal operations and its global enterprise client base.
Solving the Operational Bottleneck in Enterprise AI Adoption
As organizations move from piloting generative AI in an exploratory manner to deploying it as an enterprise initiative that is more concerned about achieving results, autonomous systems, which include the capability for independent planning and multi-stage reasoning and task execution, have become central to operational success. Embedding such autonomous systems within the existing enterprise workflows involves some major challenges from the security, governance, and architecture perspective.

Agent AI Factory addresses this implementation challenge through the integration of BAIC platform from Uniphore within Tech Mahindra‘s software engineering capabilities. This allows for providing the necessary data, model, knowledge, and agent governance capabilities that enable the building of custom Small Language Models (SLMs) and autonomous systems.
Phase-One Targeted Industry Verticals
The collaboration will initially focus solution development on two high-impact verticals where speed, precision, and regulatory compliance directly dictate commercial performance:
Retail & Supply Chain Logistics: The companies will co-build specialized agentic systems for Strategic Sourcing, enabling enterprises to automate procurement workflows, improve supplier intelligence, and execute data-driven cost optimization strategies.
Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI): Initial development targets Claims Processing and Unclaimed Benefits administration-operational zones where high-accuracy automation drastically reduces cycle times while satisfying strict regulatory guardrails.
“Companies are increasingly looking to move beyond generic AI and adopt deeply contextual, domain-aware, and results-driven solutions,” said Birendra Sen, President of Business Process Services at Tech Mahindra. “Our partnership with Uniphore expands our efforts in this direction. This partnership will enable our clients to accelerate the adoption of AI with precision, unlocking tangible business value in key sectors such as Financial Services, Banking and Insurance (BFSI) and Retail.”
“Tech Mahindra brings domain expertise from over 90 countries and more than 1,100 global customers,” said Carl Borsody, Chief Revenue Officer at Uniphore. “Together, we are combining Tech Mahindra’s expertise with our Enterprise AI Cloud, which provides the sovereign and composable foundation to extend an Agenetic AI Factory to a repeatable delivery process, starting in the Financial Services and Retail sectors and reaching other sectors and regions from there.”
Scalable Delivery Motion for Global Enterprises
The Agent AI Factory framework is designed as a modular, repeatable delivery motion. Following its initial deployment across Retail and BFSI operations, Uniphore and Tech Mahindra plan to expand the platform’s pre-built SLMs and agentic workflows into additional commercial sectors-including telecommunications, healthcare, and energy-across key operating regions globally.
